About Us

At Dirigo Custom Boatworks, We create Custom, Hand Laid, Solid Fiberglass construction, Laker Style Canoes. We offer the 3 models above and they are all built with Downeast Pride in the Beautiful USA! We will customize our canoes to a customers needs to really give it that “your canoe” feel.  

Aside from canoes, we do other fiberglass and boat building, we have a 18’, 22’, And a 26’ Boat molds as well, but haven’t really started pushing those yet. We could mention them or just that we do other boat/glass work besides canoes. We built commercial lobster boat before we started with the canoes. But the canoes are the main focus on the site. We are open Monday-Friday and we are generally there working from 6-2:30 but we can work out any time to meet a customer.
